In order to complete my education, I joined Gamabilis for a 6-month graduation internship, which was followed by a contract during the first weeks of 2019. This start-up focuses on "Games for Change", a type of serious games that pushes players to question their habits and the way they live, to initiate global changes toward a better future. However, since the company is still young and have to make a living, it also develops more traditional serious games following a business-to-business model.

PROJECT COLD HEAT (School project | March - May 2015)
Point'n'click | 1 player | PC
Engine: Adventure Game Studio (AGS)
Solo project (Game & Level Design, Sound Design, Programming, Art)
Two siblings awake in a laboratory cell and quickly discover that they can control temperature. After noticing that all the scientists are gone, they decide to break free.
During our first year, we were taught AGS' basics in order to create a short point'n'click game. This asked me to deal with all the game's aspects: game and level design, but also art, scripting and even sound design. As there was not many expectations regarding the design of such a game, the main challenge was mostly about balancing my time for taking care of these aspects. I tried to come up with some good puzzle ideas that exploited my temperature feature, though.
The level design was made using SketchUp, that I learned on my own for this project. Then screenshots of the 3D level were used in the game.
The art was produced with a "quick and dirty" state of mind, as I knew that I could not produce something good with my poor drawing abilities. I still tried to have a global style for the game. Following this idea, I decided to do the sound effects only with my mouth.
