In order to complete my education, I joined Gamabilis for a 6-month graduation internship, which was followed by a contract during the first weeks of 2019. This start-up focuses on "Games for Change", a type of serious games that pushes players to question their habits and the way they live, to initiate global changes toward a better future. However, since the company is still young and have to make a living, it also develops more traditional serious games following a business-to-business model.

SPREADSHEET FUN (Personal projects)

Excel & Google Sheets

Solo projects

Aside from using them for purposes such as design or balancing in game projects, I also like to use spreadsheets for various personal uses (such as keeping track of information in game, optimization, analysis, or just to list and sort things). Sometimes, the spreadsheet itself becomes a project on its own!

Here are some of these "project-spreadsheets" I did:

Blind Test Tool (Started: 30th June 2018 | First publication: 1st February 2019, after a 3-month break)

As a long-time Video Game Music-lover I sometimes take part in blind test, when I don't organize them. And, since finding and compiling all the tracks can take a lot of time, and keeping track of points can be a lot of work, I decided ti create this project.

This "Blind Test Tool" is both a collaborative list of tracks everybody can take part in, and a way to easily prepare and manage blind tests. In one sheet, anybody can add video game tracks they like, so those who want to make a blind test can just dig in the list. Another sheet is used to keep track of every player or team's score, while still keeping an eye on each track and its information.

I already used this tool for several online blind tests on a Discord server I created for the occasion and that I might develop if it becomes a bit popular. Then, I made this tool fully public so the track list can grow on its own.

You can contribute to the tracklist and use this tool too!

Pokémon Tiers List Template (Started: 26h September 2018 | First publication: 8th October 2018)

Knowing that I am a lot into Pokémon, a friend of mine dared me to make a complete tiers list of all 800+ Pokémon depending on how much I like them.

I accepted his challenge, and so this spreadsheet was born so anybody can do their own too.

At first I just listed all the existing creatures, with their French and English name, an icon representing them (that isn't well handled by Google Sheet, sadly) and a link to their presentation on a french website. But later I added all the different forms (except genders) and stats depending on the generation/group. There is room for improvement, and obviously I will have to add any upcoming generation to the list too.

Excel formation (Ongoing)

Since I feel like I only know about a very specific and reduced amount of spreadsheets' features, I started an Excel formation. The point is obviously to improve my skills, but also to discover new ways of using these tools in ways that could make my work easier and more effective, especially for game projects.

This formation should also help me getting familiar with VBA scripting.
