In order to complete my education, I joined Gamabilis for a 6-month graduation internship, which was followed by a contract during the first weeks of 2019. This start-up focuses on "Games for Change", a type of serious games that pushes players to question their habits and the way they live, to initiate global changes toward a better future. However, since the company is still young and have to make a living, it also develops more traditional serious games following a business-to-business model.

Engine: Unity
Solo project (Game Design, Programming, and more ?)
Little is known about this project. To sum it up, Prot-0-Type is a challenge I am giving myself: to make a full, little game on my own and ship it. The main goal behind this project is to improve my game design and programming skills, to understand better what the other development fields go through, to learn lots of new things regarding the engine, and experience the difficulties of publishing a game. I imagined the system for a "twin-stick rhythm game" and am now doing some prototyping based on it.
Here is a list of personal achievements I am trying to meet with Prot-0-Type, starting by the ones I care the most about:
-Make a full game on my own to experience all roles of game development,
-Create an accessible rhythm game that can also be enjoyed as a regular action game,
-Have an "adventure" feeling to an abstract rhythm game,
-Manage to tell a story while sticking to simple-shape graphics,
-Compose all the music in the game while imagining the "level design" they imply,
-Communicate about the game development.
I already know this is very ambitious, and I might not be able to meet all these points. That is why I currently paused Prot-0-Type development: I am now focusing on my graduation project and my career, and I will go back to it seriously once my situation is clear.
